Microsoft has limited passwords to a maximum length of 20 characters. Those users requiring compatibility with their organization’s Microsoft Active Directory or Entera ID should use passwords no longer than 20 characters long.
We recommend that you use a random string generator and include upper case, lower case, and numbers to create your password.
