Users benefit from protections against:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Brute force attacks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compromised credentials (username and password)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, some user may require further protections. Itatem offers &#8220;Lockdown Mode&#8221; for those users who seek protections against multi-factor (MFA) compromise. This includes SIM cloned devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Lockdown Mode?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Configuring your Itatem account to use &#8220;Lockdown Mode&#8221; allows you to enroll specific devices that are approved to perform multi-factor (MFA) confirmations when your login is being challenged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I configure my account to use Lockdown Mode?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Configuring your account to use Lockdown mode for additional protections is easy, start by logging into your Identity Bank account (<a href=\"https:\/\/ib.itatem.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/ib.itatem.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you are logged in, you will see the menu option &#8220;Lockdown&#8221;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full wp-duotone-default-filter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"198\" height=\"295\" src=\"https:\/\/support.itatem.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-63\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click on Lockdown and you will see: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full wp-duotone-default-filter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"998\" height=\"352\" src=\"https:\/\/support.itatem.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-64\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.itatem.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-2.png 998w, https:\/\/support.itatem.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-2-300x106.png 300w, https:\/\/support.itatem.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-2-768x271.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 998px) 100vw, 998px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now click on the link &#8220;To enroll new devices into your account Lockdown settings&#8221;. The first one is for enrolling a computer to your Itatem account, the &#8220;text me the link&#8221; is for enrolling mobile devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether you are enrolling a computer or a mobile device you will see the following when you click on the link: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large wp-duotone-default-filter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"131\" src=\"https:\/\/support.itatem.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-5-1024x131.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-67\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.itatem.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-5-1024x131.png 1024w, https:\/\/support.itatem.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-5-300x38.png 300w, https:\/\/support.itatem.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-5-768x98.png 768w, https:\/\/support.itatem.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-5.png 1175w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you click the &#8220;Confirm&#8221; button, your computer\/device will now be enrolled to your account and your account is now in Lockdown Mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We suggest you use the &#8220;text me&#8221; link first to enroll your mobile device(s). Then use the other link to enroll computers.
